I'm in Myanmar and it is tougher to access Blogger than the BBC, Hotmail and Facebook. You can get to most websites from internet cafes (actually the place where I go only sells chicken broth with pickled fish, so it is less of a cafe and stinks) but if there is the word "blog" in the URL then it is blocked by the servers there. And when I come to write a post, it is either so carefully drafted that it is drained of interest and reads like a corporate message (EVERYTHING IS OK!), or is too critical for me to wish to post as I try to set up a life in the country.
I am writing, but I'm not even going to try posting. It feels like going back in time to when I kept a diary.

Nevertheless, the good work and creativity must Not die... no matter wat! The recollections and experiences in the form of writings are personalized way of expressions and is like a gateway to the writer's brain and hormones (emotions) at the same time! Looking forward to enjoy reading more of it. So, keep up the spirit! cheers!
ReplyDeleteI finally settle down a bit and have some free time to read your stuff and you stop writing? I hope it's not permanent.
ReplyDeleteHope you and Jess are doing great (are you guys married yet?) and Myanmar is treating you well.
Michael (& Colleen)
By the way, that video of you and Jess getting soaked was the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while. “good thing this camera’s waterproof…” classic.
